The question i have is what all needs to be taken off to replace the fuel return T's Orings and hose's. will just taking off the air box be enough room or do you need to take the hard lines off and injector pump as well as the turbo? the truck is a 1994 7.3 IDI stock Turbo diesel. 4x4 Supercab if that matters.
You dont have to remove the injector pump or the turbo to replace the fuel return lines. Just remove the airbox and losen the injector lines from the injectors. You do not need remove the injector lines, just be careful not to break the timps or bend the lines. The caps come off of the injectors and the orings come off easily with a small flat screwdriver. Its pretty straight foward and hard to mess up. Just be careful of the fuel lines and put it back together the way you took it apart.
Build a ram air that get air from the radiator area.
You will not find them at a store.
When you reinstall the tee's, be sure to lube them and the O rings up good with motor oil so they don't tear.
As the tee slides over the O rings, you will feel a little snap when they seat.
