A buddy of mine got his John Deere and hay wagon stuck in about a 3.5' deep mud pit, we hooked up his tug strap, 4high, NOT BUDGING!!!
4LO, crawled him right out of there!!!!

but yeah, 4L is like reason enough to go for the 4x4 option, even if you don't plan on using it off road, its worth it to have the gear reduction...

I didn't think to bring a camera with me out in the field, cause we were baleing hay, and I normally don't bring a camera with me, guess I am going to have to start, but I promise you, that with the tractor spinning tires, and the truck in 4Lo, we crawled it right out of there!!
