Hi all. I have a problem with my '93 Ranger. The heater core hose popped right underneath the right coil pack and sprayed all over and I think it shorted out the coil pack. The truck died on my way to work tonight. By checking with a timing light, I get spark on the left coil pack, but nothing on the right. Also, I tried to pull the ECM codes and I get no check engine light whatsoever, no check engine light when I go to start the truck, that I hope is a dead light bulb. I also don't hear the fuel pump kicking in when I go to start the truck either. Do I have multiple problems? Or is one causing a ton of others?
I forgot to mention, I have an aftermarket tach wired into the ECM thru the tach line. The tach bounces around wildly while attempting to start the truck. If I disconnect the right coil pack, the tach does squat. Disconnecting the left coil pack, the tach still bounces around wildly.
--- EDIT ---
I'm wondering if I didn't lose my crankshaft position sensor? As I've read that it provides RPM info.

Reason: Added info..
Ford computers are the hardest to get missfire check engine lights to come on. I would start with your crank sensor. BUT, the easiet route, Ohm out the know good coil pack, then ohm out the potential bad. Not the same, good indication that the coil pack is shot.
