460 intake question.
Hello every one, I was wondering about the design of this edelbrock intake manifold i bought. I was wondering about the water passage on the back of the manifold well it doesn't have one 
Why did they make them with out a rear water passage, wouldn't this make overheating a problem?

No, The water flows from the front of the block (the water pump) back to the rear of the block and then up into the heads and then forward thru the heads to the front and then into the intake to the thermostat. Stock manifolds don't have a rear cross over either. The heads have the passage at both ends so the heads can be used on either side of the block.
