I got a question about the a/c in my truck. When i start my truck up with the a/c on it blows through the defroster vents then it starts going through the dash vents. dont know if something is broke or what. if you guys have any ideas let me know.
Most likely the vacuum that controls the vents bleeds down over night and it takes a second for the vac pump to build the vacuum back up. I'm assuming you leave the selector in the vent position overnight??
EDIT: Welcome to FTE! This is the best place to learn anything and everything you'd could know about your truck. We've even got our own OT (off topic) thread for things not related to our trucks.
Ok, definitely a leak somewhere before the locking hubs then. The vacuum pump and solenoid are on the right side of the engine compartment. Here's a thread that deals with the problem and there is another one that had a good test you can run that I am looking for. If I find it I will post it up for you.
