Welcome to . The most friendly, informative and helpful 7.3 forum on the net.
Yes he can if he has your type of PCM on hand. I have an XLE4 and wanted some TC lock-up tunes. At the time Jody didn't have an XLE* on hand and I had to send him mine. Call and talk with him, or email your questions.
Like said before do the supporting mods first if you haven't. Otherwise you are putting your engine and tranny at risk.
It used to be that Jody could do a lot more with a later PCM, like the PMT1 or PMT2 but I guess after a bunch of rounds of live tuning he's figured out how to tweak the early bird PCM's just as good as he can the later ones. I bought a used PMT2 PCM from car-part.com for $80 shipped, spent 10-15 swapping it out and I'm way happy with the switch. My truck is (was) a Cali model so the fueling was convervative for emissions reasons, now it runs better with a little more giddy-up and the trans shifts a TON better. Worth the money spent for the improvement in trans shift points IMO. PMT1 and PMT2 seem to be the most popular programs, the PMT2 is the same as the PMT1 with increased clutch holding pressure.
The Dp did everything and more for me. I was very impressed. I had a superchips microtuner and it was child's play compared to the Dp tuner. Just make sure you get those guages and maybe the 6637 mods and you should be fine.
all i haveis cold air intake and 4" stainless exhaust
You really need an EGT gauge if you install any type of chip. High exhaust temps will play hell with your pistons. Exhaust temps above 1200° for and extended time will begin to melt your aluminum pistons.
ok thanks i will get a set ordered you guys are a big help
Good for you, Do it right. Supporting mods are very important before a DP-Tuner. If you do not spend the time and money on supporting mods first you will spend much more later on corrective maintenace. If you have any questions about mods just ask. There will always be someone here to answer your questions and give good advice.

Hi roger99,
The XLE8 programs Jody have are great. He can now do everything he needs to without upgrading the PCM. All due to live tuning.
If you plan on upgrading your trans, injectors, fuel system, turbo and big oil; Jody can tune for all of that now and you can keep your E99 auto pcm.
