New Exhaust

Got the Magnaflow single in dual out put on today. Awesome. Quiet cruising around town and on the interstate. Put the hammer down and she comes alive. Immediately noticed an increase in mpg's. Around town was averaging around 13 and ran around 150 miles today in town and averaged 14.5. Same conditions and being conservative on the throttle. I'm interested to see how the highway mileage increases. Have not noticed any resonance in the cab. I can't believe I haven't done this sooner.

I have an 04 scab, and I bought the maggie dual rear exit. I love the sound. The only problem I had was when I put it on. The hangers that came with the kit for the tail-pipes seemed to not match up with the holes in the frame correctly. I kind of made them work but I know they are not exactly right. I have some metal on metal that makes a rattle occasionally. I bought the 166124 kit. I think that is the one I got. It came with two different length pipes that went from cats to muffler. Has anyone experienced this with this kit, and if so, how did you fix the problem.

i encountered the same problem with my exhaust system (flowmaster), we had to relocate the Hooks for the hangers a small distance away where there where already the correct wholes to reset the hooks there.
