I recently noticed that one of the wires coming out of the wiring harness behind the alternator on my '68 F-100 had been clipped by a previous owner and I don't know where it should go! The alternator has 2 sidebyside terminals @ 10 o'clock, one @ 12 o'clock marked GRD, one @ 6 o'clock marked STA, and what looks like a terminal @ 3 o'clock but I can't see any marking. The 2 terminals @ 10 have: an orange wire (14 gauge?) on the inside terminal and a black wire (12 gauge?) on the outside terminal. The wire that has been clipped is a black wire (14 gauge?) and I have no idea where it goes. I can't find any wiring diagrams for this truck so any help will be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks, all!
