My 85 F150 4x4 has been eating batteries like crazy. It's my second truck, and it sits at home while I'm away at school. It used to be fine like this, I would come home every few weeks, pump the gas a little and she'd fire right up. This year though she's always just clicking. Earlier in the year I could jump her, but now nothing. I had her hooked up with jumper cables for fifteen minutes and got nothing, she turned over half-heartedly once or twice and then back to the clicking. I stole the battery from my bro's yard-based 86 Bronco and she fired up. Next time I came home, click. Jumped it and she barely turned over then died again. In all, I've used four different batteries from four different cars in the yard (yes, oddly enough there are that many, but we have five people driving with three of us owning multiple cars) and each time the battery is getting completely drained when not in use. Any ideas on where I should start? I hate electrical stuff, but I'm sick of eating batteries, they ain't free you know.
