i need to replace my throttle cable
i snapped the throttle cable on my 302 with a 2bbl. its stranded on the side of the road. how hard is this to do on the side of a road and what tools will i need?

It's very easy, all you will need is possibly some needle nose pliers and a basic socket set or maybe just a screwdriver depending on how easy it is to reach. You can use the pliers to pop(it should just pop right off) the end of the cable off the carb and slip the other end off the gas pedal. There should be 1 large sheetmetal screw retaining the cable to the intake manifold. Remove that and then pull out the cable.
