Wiper problem
Hello everyone,
I have a 1990 F250 EFI 351 4x4.
The problem I am having with the wipers is that they don't return to their normal position when I turn them off. They freeze where ever they are on the windshield. I did replace the wiper switch already. Is it anything to do with the wiper motor. BTW they are intermitent wipers, if that helps.
Please help.
I know this issue may have been posted before, but, if anyone remembers anything about it I'd appreciate the info.

The parking switch inside the motor gearbox is bad. You may be able to pop off that black cover where the wires plug into and clean the contacts. Old grease will bend them away from the gear where they ride on. Worse case one of the wire contacts broke off then you may find a cover from a junkyard or get a new wiper motor$$$
