Thats right,a technical knock out! In fact,I am still sore and a little bloody! Let me explain,,,

It started out this morning,,,truck comes in,,check engine light on.Ok,I take the scanner out on the lot and scan it. Hmmm, rear speed sensor failure. No big deal,I know exactly what the problem is,,the wires are going to be broken where they leave the frame and loop down to the axle. So,I go back in the shop,grab my soldering iron,shrink tube,strippers and solder,,and head back out to the lot. I figured it would be quicker to just lay under the truck on the lot,then it would to bring it in,,set up the lift,,raise it,,and then fix it.
So,,there I am,,under the truck,,minding my own business,reach up,,separate the loom,and then lay my head back down. As soon as I do,,,BAM! This *&%$#$ kitten attacks me! Came out of nowhere! Hit me when I wasn't looking! Startled me so bad that,,,,(did I mention I was under a truck?) I jumped up,,,hit my head on the axle so hard it almost knocked me out! MAN! THAT HURT! So,,I lay there for a minute,,,dazed and confused,,,all the time that stupid kitten is laughing! Well,,I finally get my senses back,,wipe the blood off my face,and proceed to fixing the truck. The whole time,,this kitten just sits there contently watching me. I crawl out,,rescan the truck to verify the repair,and then walk back into the shop. That little @#$%$# follows me!
I walk up to the service counter,,my boss says,,MY GOD! What happened to you? I try to explain,,,(didn't work),,,for the rest of the day I was the receiving end of jokes like,,,Whats the matter old man,,cant handle a little pu##y? Oh well,,,I dish it out most of the time,,so I guess today was my turn. Oh,,,the kitten? He?She?It,,decided to hang out with me all day. When I went to lunch,,I bought him?Her?It? a cheeseburger. That poor kitten wolfed it down so fast that it was obvious it hadnt eaten in awhile. Ok,,so I am a softy for animals,,I cant help it. Yup,,I brought him?her?it? home! And now he?Her?It? is sitting on my lap as I type this. Stupid cat,,STOP LAUGHING!

rubbing my head as I read this...walked into the lift yesterday aand damn near got knocked out...no cats involved!

 

Man you made my whole night. I cant stop laughing. At least the kitty has a good home and one he can be in charge of to. Good to see that you have a heart also.

 

I'd have to go ahead and keep that kitten. What a trophy!!!

Hey KT sorry to hear you got hurt by a little old kitty lol, but glad to hear you are ok now and boy I guess you are a big softy to take in the kitty that beat you up lol.

 

The best cats have good stories behind their bonding. Good for you for adopting. Just make sure "HeSheIt" gets fixed in the near future.

 

I think you are lucky to be alive kittens have been known to kill when you are on your back working, so I think he/she spared your life but I think you know that already thats why you got him/her a cheeseburger.

Well,,here is an update. Turns out "it" is a female. That figures! Females seem to have a knack for attacking me while I am on my back,,, Ok,,not really,but it sounded good. And they do have a talent for making my head hurt! And of course,,,typical female,,,give a guy tons of affection,,until another female enters the picture,,then,,,they wander off together and leave a poor guy all by himself,,,,Oh well,,,I just scored major "Daddy did good points" with my little girl,,,even if she stole my kitten!

 

My ever, constant companion was abandoned in a tree when she was but a week or so old,,, Some friends of mine heard her crying up there for three days before they climbed up and got her,,, Her eyes weren't even open and she had no teeth. They didn't know what to do with her, so they called me and asked if I'd take her, and of course I said, "Yes!!"

When she got here, her fur was all plastered to her face and came to a point at her chin from the sticky, sweet milk they tried to feed her, and her ears shot straight out to the sides,,, she looked just like a little devil cat, so we named her Diablo!!

Anyway, the kids and I took turns bottle feeding her and keeping her company. She turned out to be a pretty cool cat!! I don't think she realizes that she is a cat, she thinks she's a very short person.

When she decides she wants affection, she jumps up onto your shoulder and just hangs there, draped over your shoulder, kind of like a parrot!! She's quite a character!

 

Hunt down that little sucker and take her out!!! Chicks never fight fair....why should you.
