Windshield Molding (Need Black)
My chrome to black conversion is inching closer and closer, but the next few things i need is to remove the chrome moulding around the windshield and chrome mirrors. I need to find some satin finished mouldings that i can have painted to put around my windshield, does anyone know where i can find some, or what model trucks had the sating mouldings, like the XL's?

My buddy found Black Bronco moldings for his.... At least that's what he says... He owns a Body shop so I hope he knows what he's talking about....

Yea no problem guys I will let you know how it turns out, I also want to get black mirrors oppose to the chrome, but i am not sure how well that plastic takes shiny black, i think the F150-F350 kind come satin, but the SVT ones are dark black

Talked to a powder coating shop today, he said they can bake the paint right over the chrome no problem. So what I am going to do is buy an old chrome set ebay and have it powder coated, I am very excited.

These mouldings are not specific to Nite and Lightning models only. Bronco's used them 1991/95 on some models, exclusively in 1996.

How do the chrome pieces come off the back of the mirrors? Do you just pry them off or what, they didn't really seem to want to pop off so I started getting nervous. Check out what it looks like guys with just the chrome piece around the windshield removed.
