There was an anodized aluminum version used on 1968/69 Custom Cabs = C8TZ-8200-E except on 1969 Rangers, which used a unique one year only grille (C9TZ-8200-A).
1967's also had a steel (C7TZ-8200-B) & an anodized aluminum (C7TZ-8200-C) grille.
In order to use this grille on a 1970/72, you'll need both parklamp assembly's and their mounting brackets. 1970/72's are not the same.
The latch, upper latch plate, lower valance panel (stone shield), center grille brace are the same 1967/72.
Robert, I think there's one of these at that yard we spoke of...P/M me your phone number again, I deleted it in error.
That '65 painted grille is also still there, it's off a F600 and is slightly tweaked.
Don & I spent hours going thru some of the stuff (the place is HUGE) on Monday following the WestNats.
I just aquired 2 grills. Both look identical to each other with the exception of a ranger emblem in the center of one of them.
The one that has the Ranger emblem came off of a 1968 Ranger camper special. The other one came off of a 1968 f100 both are aluminum and look good and straight.

The 1968 Ranger uses the exact same anodized aluminum grille (C8TZ-8200-E) all the '68's and 69's do, except the 1969 Ranger.
The '69 Ranger uses a unique oneyearonly grille, proven by the part number: C9TZ-8200-A.
Before passing judgement on what's original and what ain't...look at some original factory photo's...there is a difference.
