Cruise weekend plans

Speaking of Cruise Weekend, I noticed as I drove down 8Th Street last Sunday afternoon that a mopar club had a meet with what looked to be a decent turn out. Need less to say they, like the 567 club spanked our Ford Truck buns, we`ve never yet been able tp have a meet or even a hope of one yet.........

what time will it be boss...is it friday or saturday? i'll be leaving here around 4-430 on friday, maybe an hour earlier if i can squeak it... be there all day saturday and sunday until evening. i'm up for a weinie roast or whatever. my BIL will likely be with me, but its groovy, he has a ford now as well.

Im still unsure if Im coming 100 percent. If it looks like it might be a really great weekend, and the doc gives me the go ahead to try to get in my boat, Ill probably head to the lake.
If the weather looks like it wont be that great for boating, Ill probably be in. As for plans I will just kinda see what everyone else plans

The Cruise show is Sunday but that`s anti climatic for me. The best part is the Saturday evening cruise on 8Th Street, there`s nothing like neat wheels in motion and visiting with car buddies swapping stories. Hopefully there are afew nice rides out on Friday evening too.
It`s not my cup of tea to be looking at tiny cars with big boom boxes, new car displays and other stuff I`d rather not see.............

Heh it seems like there are tons of the little fart can cars out on cruise nights. Ya might wanna get some selective vision going on for ya that night!
Usually there isnt a shortage of cool older rides though, enough to make up for the not so nice ones.

The A&W or the DQ on 8Th Street seems fine to me Sherm. Wendy`s on 8Th Street is also great too.
I got to work out of town Friday so can`t say when I might make it that day but I`m trying to leave all day Saturday open. You can always pm Paso1 and meet up with him later on Friday if he`s around other wise I`ll get your cell number and get in touch as soon as I can on Friday evening.

Ill throw a little input here. For a place to meet up, the nice open spots usually fill up pretty fast. By the dq would be the most open, the a and w has trees in front, dont they?
