LOL I was just razzing him for jacking up a 2WD truck. I've never understood the logic behind that, but if it makes him happy then so be it.

its a mall crawler truck aka street use only. it will never see the dirt again with those tires and rims. too expensive. its a show truck now. so just driving it on the streets would defeat the purpose of needing a 4wd truck. therefore, i own a 2wd. just wait till march of 09. ill be throwing on a 12 lift kit. any truck lifted over 6 inches is impractical offroad anyways.

well, yours is the second one i seen with them, but i know the first truck was custom drilled. i just thought they may have started making them due to demand.

how much does it cost to get them re drilled? were your sets blank when you got them and then you had them drilled to match your bolt pattern or did you order them like that?

Impractial off road over 6 inches?? How do you figure that? Maybe on the dirt roads, which you proabaly think is "offroading"

And lifting a 2wd "Mall Crawler" 12+ inches is practical? COMPLETE waste of money IMO.

hes not saying a 12+ inch is practical, hes saying its for on road use, not offroad. lifting a mall crawler show truck has nothing to do with practicality! and everything to do with looks, and just cuz one person doesnt like it doesnt mean its a waste of money, as long as something is done right and you can tell time effort and a decent amount of money and thinking went into it, then i can appreciate it, but not everyone is like me

the rims had to be custom drilled to my bolt pattern. the shop i took it too did the re-drilling so im not sure the exact figure. i didnt know it was re-drilled till they were sitting on the truck. i was like wtf hahaha

ok buddy, look at your truck. you got your 10 inch lift and your tires are bigger then mine. your truck is clearly built for mudding which is cool but thats not offroad, im sorry. IM talking about whiping the back end around, doing some jumps, goin over whoops at 30mph and taking sharp turns at 40, gettin your truck sideways. thats what im talking about. no truck with a 12 inch lift could do that.

and another thing. 90% of all trucks that are lifted 12 inches and up dont even have a ****ing driveshaft to the 4wd due to the angle. so all thses baller trucks out there with 20 inch lifts that are "4wd" arent really cause they cant even engage in it. if i wanna 4 wheel it ill go buy a jeep. your in no position to call a 2wd "mall crawler" 12+ inches impractical so i suggest to shut it. look at all the ppl that have posted positive comments. They apparently like it. and if there was a poll im sure most would agree, a truck with a 6+ inhc lift is impractical for what i was talking about.

Not to start a fight but mudding is more offroad than whipping the back end around, hitting jumps, hitting the whoops, and taking a sharp corner on a gravel road. Any car can do that.

You're not going to use your truck for any of that anyways, it's a tarbaby and it does look really nice. I'm sure the majority of the pawns out there don't even know it's not a 4x4.
