Yes. I do like peanut butter.
Especially on an English muffin, toast, flour tortilla, french bread, out of the jar,
celery sticks, etc.

Do you like gorp?

YES!!! Gorp is the ULTIMATE in snacks....Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts all over the world LIVE for the hiking trips and the "Feast of Gorp!" LOL

A human being becomes peanut butter when they are sandwiched between two big rigs that are sliding around on a sheet of ice on the interstate~~~ On Dec 23rd, as we were traveling from IL to WV (trip took 12 hours instead of the normal 7) when on the 4th hour of our journey, we ended up in "hell froze over"........................

I was a full semi truck length behind the rig in front of us, when the driver decided to stop suddenly....rather try to....no biggie, I could slow accordingly.....my Daddy didnt raise no fool.....while looking in my rearview mirror, and seeing the rig behind us start the slide towards us....NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!

I had seven babies (aged 7-18) counting on me to pull them through this, soooooo, I did EXACTLY as my Daddy said......"when on the road and you encounter a sheet of ice, DO NOT fight the flow of the frozen river......instead, paddle on the banks"

So, I kept my calm, took the van to the median and avoided the contact with the rigs......they DID connect and resulted in a couple of cars being smacked, but mine was NOT one of them......I drove along the 'banks of the frozen river', 5 mph travel, for 120 miles, one set in the gravel and one set in the grass.......as I was passing peeps, they were pulling out of traffic behind me and doing the same.....guess it pays to be a trucker's daughter~~~~~~

the kiddos thought we were going over on our side, and to tell you the truth, I was frightened out of my mind wondering if I was gonna be able to pull it off.......we left IL at 10:30am CST and arrived in WV at 11:34pm EST......

Do you think I handled the situation well enough?

well enough, yes.
better would have been to get the target off of the van by getting off of the road in the safety of a motel or something till the ice melted though.

were you wearing your supermom cape when you did that fancy driving??

Yes, I do believe my babies thought so anyways.....
they are still talking about it to all their friends....LOL

couldnt get off the road to a motel, I was in the median, exit ramps were on the other side.....and stand still traffic for that side of the road....I am no dummy~~~I wasnt gonna vehicle wrestle!!

Yes. As a matter of fact I do feel OK.
I don't know about FarmForward, though.
