That is a great looking rig! Wonder why he is selling with just under 3500 miles
on the clock. Assuming he bought it new and the cost of the mods, I don't see how
he can come out with more than he spent. Nice truck though....
after purchasing the lift and tires and paying for installation he found out he couldn't make the truck payment and the credit card payment so he had to get rid of the more expensive option and settle for the credit card bill?

With a lift like that I don't think it was ever used as a pickup as I can promise you that I wouldn't be able to use that truck with all that crap(as most know I'm not a fan of lift kits, but I accept that there are those that do and to each their own) on there for what I do, so it is basically a transportation toy. I can't even imagine he went off-roading much either(which in my mind would be one of the few reasons to actually have that lift kit although most don't even do that with lift kits).
So factoring in the probability that he didn't need the truck given his mods, his mods probably also made the crappy mileage that it already got even crappier(although 3.500 doesn't give the engine enough time to break in and get it's opitium mileage), and then the wonderful cost of filling that thirsty tank up, that is probably why he is getting rid of it at 3,500 miles.

You will never ever come out with the cost of your mods on a vehicle, even before the market tanked. Best thing to do is to just enjoy the vehicle and the mods that you put on it for as long as you can.
