Does anyone know where to find this plug or possibly what the thread size is so I can just get it at the hardware store? I know I've seen it some where.
Go to the auto parts store and ask for an oil pan drain plug for a Dodge Cummins.
I don't have the part number on me but I got mine at Napa. And, yes, it was an oil drain plug for a Cummins. Comes with a rubber gasket too (was about $6).
One thing I didn't mention though......if you plan on using the AIH delete plug for tapping purposes on the boost gauge, get the one from ITP Diesel, ya can't do it with the Cummins one. I already had mine tapped into the map line, so it didn't matter with me
I just got a drain plug from the parts store, but it's the wrong one. It's to small. Do you guys know what size motor it might have come from? Also what if I just cut the heater off and screw it back in?

that's what i did a while back. took the angle grinder and cut it flush, can't beat a freebie. i have the one tapped for the boost gauge in the kit that barry posted, but i haven't bought my gauges yet, so i haven't put it on yet.

Cool thanks. I just went back to the dodge dealer and they are really giving me a hard time. I left empty handed when I finally told them I was using it for my powerstroke.
I got a drain plug at Napa that was 22mm 1.5 that worked ok. It's a little longer than the ones you can buy from the sponsors mentioned above but I wanted to delete the IAH before I made a trip. It certainly isn't as much of a restriction as the never-used heating coil.
