79 stepside

i have a 79 stepside that i want to rebuild i basicly know what i want . just some helpfull hints or experience would be helpfull. i need some on the suspension what can i do to like tighten up some.ive heard like sway bars,i like to keep it stock looking as far as the height,but im willing to give up some
hieght but not much maybe 1'' in front maybe 2''or 3 ''in the rear. where i can go to find more information & what would be best

your in the right place dude, im assuming that you have e 2wd? Poly bushings bake a huge difference, new shocks (kyb are very good), new front coils (cheap), sway bars help out for sure.

As far as cornering goes.. yep you want bigger sway bars. Drop the front an inch or so and the back down about 2-3 so shes level and that will make a big diff how it comes outta corners.
