The 3.0 isn't a very mod friendly engine. The bama engine programer will help the most for about 10 hp and 15 foot pounds. BamaChips Tuning. Underdeive pullies will be your second biggest bang for the buck at around 5-7 hp. An intake and catback might get you 3-4 hp. However, it will give you an awesome sound, the intake growls and the catback rumbles. Forced induction is the only meaningful way to get power from these engines and as of right now, there are no kits on the market, you will have to build your own. The best way to get power from your 3.0, is to swap it out for a 5.0.
There were perfomance camshafts and dual valve springs available on market. Engine revs up faster, more sharp but 10-15 HP gane only. It is also possible to increase compression up to 1:13 and run oct 95 gas. +5Hp. But oct.95 is too expencive
