4 bolt main

does anyone sell 4 bolt main caps for the 400? i know they dont have them stock but could be machined to have them, and i would kind of like the security of having the 4 bolt mains.

Hello this topic has been coverd in past treads with with some very good info added to the fourm, even a picture or two of sucsessfull results. Hope that that direction can help in some ways.

4 bolt mians arent nessesary except if youre willing to rev your engine past 6500...then you would also need stronger rods, forged pistons etc....

335 series engines have been known for having very strong 2 bolt main caps. They are very hearty in build and not likely to walk under most conditions, just shy of circle track racing! lol
Like what was said, it can be done, but not necessary. This isn't a chebbie you're messing with.
