what are TSB's and COP's? what should i use for penetrating spray? wd-40? rust buster?
TSB = Technical Service Bulletin. There have been at least two issued concerning plug removal.
COP = Coil on plug.
For penetrant, I believe the initial service bulletin recommended aerokroil while the last TSB recommended Motorcraft Carburetor Cleaner, if I am not mistaken.
I have seen some that indicated success with PB Blaster.
btw, is your sig supposed to say "V-Strom"? I thought they were V-Storms
It's not a typo...it's spelled Strom" from the German word for "flow" (as in wind). An engineer from Suzuki Germany pitched the bike to Suzi to compete against BMW's "dual-purpose adventure" bike, whatever it was, several years ago.
While it's certainly not a Beemer, it's a great bike for the money!
