ST. PETERSBURG (Bay News 9) -- The Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney's Office has concluded that a St. Petersburg police officer was justified in his use of deadly force when he shot and killed a teenager.
Officer Terrence Nemeth shot Javon Dawson, 17, outside a graduation party in June.
Police said that Dawson was waving a gun around and that he pointed it at the officer.
An internal investigation by the St. Petersburg Police Department is not complete and therefore police will not issue a comment on the case.
Chief Harmon did, however, issue the following comments in a press release: "My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Dawson family as well as Officer Terrence Nemeth and his family."
"This has been a difficult situation for all involved. I appreciate the patience and understanding our broader community has demonstrated thus far during the investigation and ask for their continued understanding while we conclude our internal investigation."

I'm just guessing here, but I would say that a large number of those posts from your link would not be tolerated by the good administrators of FTE......
Oh well. It's a safe bet that there'll be no comment from the dead kid either.
No comment from the PD because the internal investigation is not over.
