Bye bye '97, hello '08
Well gang, I've moved on up to the new Expy forum. Had to trade in my excellent, perfectly tuned and equipped '97 with only 134K on it because now we have three grandkids and need 8 seats to take everyone along on long vacation trips. We used to take two vehicles, the Expy and a '98 Escalade EXL, but now it makes good sense gas consumption wise to have one vehicle, and it's more fun too.
First 2K mile trip the trip computer showed 19.5 mpg at 70 to 75mph. That's a welcome improvement over the '97 whose best was 18 at 60mph.
