I picked up the bed today and it is in great shape! It is a shame it won't fit my project truck. I got such a good deal on it I couldn't turn it down. I have thought about cutting the sections out of it I need to repair my bed, but I don't think I can bring myself to do that. This thing is just in to good of shape to chop up! I listed it on ebay: eBay Motors: 1979 Ford Super Camper Special Bed (item 250281640450 end time Aug-18-08 13:49:01 PDT)
1977/79's have gas filler doors, 1973/76's do not.
The fuel tank filler necks are not the same, so if someone wants to use this bed on a 1973/76, they'll have to change the filler necks, which may not be too easy to find.
The filler neck for the aft axle tank is 1977/79 Super Camper or Trailer Special only.

If you have the filler necks, you should say so.
Good point numberdummy! The filler necks are on the bed. It is still attached to the frame so all of that stuff is still on it.

Also, the VIN # is F35JPDC2060 (fyi)
that's good that you sold it. did you sell it to someone that's a member of this site?
No he is not a member. I would have kept my profit comment to myself if he was. I put it on craigslist and the guy saw it there. He lives in the southwest part of VA. I was real happy to get it to someone that could use the whole bed. It was even better since this guy still uses his CS for what it was made for. He still uses his truck to carry his camper. Good stuff!!
