power windows '97 expy
i've pretty much searched this forum for my prob, but no luck.
i cannot get any of my power windows to operate. neither from the drivers side or each individual window. checked the "window lock" switch, window circuit breaker (30 amp-under hood). can't find any other fuses or anything that might be related to this prob....help!

see above....before my windows quit, i had the following probs: speedo wouldn't work, check eng light on, air bag light on. disconnected batt for ten mins. above symptoms gone, now have: no interior lights (glove box, overhead, etc), no windshield wipers (front or rear), no running board lights. my research has directed me to the GEM (generic electronic module) it controls all the above plus much more. anyone agree with me and what can i do to correct this? tks
