Did anyone catch the opening ceremonies? Even though these kind of things are not my bag - they were spectacular! My parents travelled to Beijing about ten years ago or so.

It`s really not my bag either and after hearing of all the pollution in that country I`m too turned off about the whole thing to pay any attention.
I suppose it`s our partly our own fault, we keep buying articles made there and they make them causing even more pollution.....

To me the pollution and "supporting china through buying products" has no effect on my zero interest in the olympics.
I never have been into watching much for sports, more been into playing them.
