I am installing a remote starter and I need to connect to the wait to start light. I am told that it is a blk/pnk wire. I am having trouble getting to the light itself to find it anybody know were else it runs so i can connect. Or if someone can send me to a web site with wire diagrams it would be helpfull. My first day on the board and one week with the 2000 f-350. Thanks Andy
the WTS light is accessable behind the dash cluster. It is black and pink. Also it is negative trigger from the PCM. there are three connectors plugged into the dash cluster. looking at it from the front the connector on the right contains the WTS wire. I think it's on the right side of the connector too. Check out ebay , search for "ford install guide" I bought one and it helped me alot. -Jaseun
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Apr-02 AT 06:56 PM (EST)] Thanks for the help I called the company and they said I could also connect the wait to start light at the bcm since I need to connect to the tach wire also. NOw I need to figure out how to get to the wires will the bcm pull through to the inside with the wires connected or do I have to pull the inner fender well which also looks like a nightmare. Or should I figure out how to get the dash apart and connect everything back there. Thanks Andy
Both of those wires are available at the BCM. I found it easier to connect to them behind the dash. They are the same color of course at the dash. -Jaseun
