Interesting Article...
Hi Everyone,
I was killing some time on the transporting trip I am currently on while my wife was on one of her hunting and gathering missions in a mall. I went to the Border's book store to enjoy the comfortable chairs and air conditioning. I ended up looking at the magazines. I'm not into mags to much because they are 90% advertising and all of them are six bucks or more. A mag named OL'SKOOL RODZ caught my eye. The mag itself borders on radical and would probably be offensive to the true restorstion purist. My being a Darksider of the Black Hole degree, I found parts of it rather appealing. That point made, I found it interesting that they had an article in it about the threat to our American auto culture. I tried to go to the mag's site online and find the article. I had no luck. The piece is in the August/September, 2008 issue. The title is FORD ON THE BRINK - AN AMERICAN CURTURAL CATASTROPHE, by "Cadallac Joe" Vincent, and it is a sobering bit of reading. I'm not recommending running out to buy the mag for this article. I do suggest you look for it if you happen to be browsing a magazine rack someplace. I don't know if this article exists someplace online but if I find it I will post a link. If anyone else know of a link please post it.
