I have a 78 F150 with a 351M (duraspark). On the coil is a cylinder which looks just like a condenser. The wire broke off at the top of it due to age (263,000 miles of age). I went to relplace it and realized that duraspark did not have a condenser. What is this thing? I am guessing something for radio supression but I don't know. If anyone does I would like to know. Thanks.
