Dead Electrical?

Hey folks if anyone has any ideas here I'd really like to hear them, I've tried everything I can think of. I've got a 77 F-150 and everyone at some point seems to have hacked up the wiring harness, anyway a real problem has started, my alt. is working fine putting out around 13 volts that's fine but at the same time inside the cab I've got between 15 and 16 volts. I'll drive home from work and park and when I come back out the truck is dead, not the battery but inside the cab there's juice getting to anything but my battery will still show 12.75 it's made the truck unreliable. Please someone tell me something I haven't thought of yet

If it has power and wont start... id check the starter selinoid. If EVERYTHING in the cab is dead... well, im lost on that, id check the ignition switch other than that im no help.
Good luck! I just spent about 10 hrs pulling repairing and installing all the wiring in my new truck.

Check the Fuse Links coming off the starter solenoid etc...

One of them may be blown.

Check the Battery connections at the same time. Check them at the battery, and at the starter solenoid, starter, and the Engine ground as well.

Report back what you find. Thanks.
