It's a small world!

So earlier today....I was out back shooting my bow, and noticed there was a small fire from lightning on the mountain so I went inside to call it in. I contact dispatch for the Forest service, and find out they already know about it, and made a little small talk with the guy.......suddenly....I realize I am talking to RICH! (fyre82) I mention that I "think" I know who he is.....and we figure out that we knew each other from the G2G from my house! He's a heck of a nice guy for those of you that talked with him at my house.....anyways......SMALL WORLD!

I say that all the time. I ran into the brother of an old drinking buddy from the 60s. I had not seen him in 40 years. The other night Vici & I went to the walmart in Fallon I walked in the door & their stood a fellow knifemaker that I haven't seem in 5 years. That stuff has been happening to me a lot since coming home.

I never see anyone I know here in Tempe...been here 11 years

When I lived in chandler in 1990, I got a job towing for AAA...My first tow was for a couple that lived 7 miles from where I lived in NH!

Kewl storys Guys!! OK i have a small world story, just a few days ago i was surfing craigslist. there was a 78 Ranchero for sale, I call, The guys name was Lee, I go to look at the truck, and what do you know!!! it's Lee from "Tumbleweed Mini's" a Truck club I belonged to almost 25 years ago! It was so cool to see someone from the old Club! Now we have talked a few times on the phone, and we will be contacting all the old members we can find for a reunion of some sort. Just reminds me of how long i have been into Ford Trucks! I owned a 77 Courier p/u back then!

Thanks Travis.

Hey we waved at ya last weekend on the way back from Wapatki. I woulda stopped by but I had a hankerin' for some shrimp kabobs and still had to find the shrimp. We'll have to get together again and go exploring somewhere out that way.

I still have to get a shirt from you too, I didn't get one at the meet cause I was too poor to pay attention and was enough of a mooch as it was .

Hey Rich.....I ran into one of your co-workers yesterday afternoon out in the woods. I was building a ground-blind for my Deer hunt coming up, and was in the middle of NOWHERE.......and I hear "Forest Service" out of the blue haha.......she had no clue what I was doing out there lol. I guess she was out hiking looking for a fire? It was northeast of O'Leary. By the way....the shirts are all gone now
