BB 460 headers???

Well it seems that some of you are hav'n better luck getting headers for a 460 EFI motor than I am.... I got stuck with a set of Headmans that didn't fit as they should and are PAPER thin.... I need to get another set cause the Headmans are already cracked after less than ten thousand miles.... My question is, where can I get get a good set of headers to fit a EFI 460 ford truck???

Thanks for posting this. I'm looking at headers for my 460 and the $325 Hedmans are tempting, but..

Thorleys or Banks are what I'm getting, the Thorleys have 3/8 flanges and 14g tubes, the Banks are even heavier. Compare that to the 1/4 flanges and 18g tube Hedmans. Twice the money, but twice the product.

$$$ is always a factor, but in this case I'm not liking the Headmans at all... I need a good set of headers that are gonna last and actualy line up to the heads.....

I've spent boat loads of $$$ on this truck building the motor/trans... I have had quite the time building this beast 'cause nobody seems to be going that as far as I have.... It has been quite the learning experience....

Anyone have any links.....

L & L is the way to go. I had a set on my 79 Bronco. They were big and beefy. They sure won't crack. The nickel plating didn't hold up that well after time but the Bronco rusted away long before the headers were worn out. They are expensive though.....but then again how much does 4 sets of Headmans cost? That is what you will probably need unless you buy one set of L&L's. L&L also makes great motor mounts and accessory brackets. I have them all in my 1974 F-100.
