Weird problem??
Hi all,
This is my first post to this message board.
The problem i am having is that when I turn off my explorer, and take the keys out of the ignition, I open the door, and the door chimes(like I have the keys in), and I have constant power to my windows,radio etc as if the key was in the ACC position.
My manual said to check the continuity in different positions of the switch(acc,lock,off,run,start). I did this, and all was okay. I still think the ignition switch is bad or something related to it, but the test came out fine, anything else to look at? I even bought a new key lock cylinder. still the same problem.
