I think the biggest improvement from the DP-Tuner for my truck has been precisely for the towing with the 60T setting. Last time I towed, I set the cruise for 65mph, and that tach stuck right at 1900rpm the whole time, up and down hills, because it no longer needed to kick in and out of overdrive, never mind not having to downshift to make the hills.
Same is true from the 80E; just set the cruise, and no kickdowns or dropping out of OD to keep the speed on the steep grades, as it now has plenty of torque to make it locked in OD.
