I've been having my 05 F-150 dealer serviced and I know they use MotorCraft semi-synthetic. I am going to take over the oil changes myself now and was wondering what everybody uses. Want to stick with the Semi-Syn but which brand?? MotorCraft?!

the choices of oil is endless but reguardless keep the motorcraft filter, they are the best for the price.
im using motorcraft semi synthetic for 11.xx at walmart for the 5 gallon jugs.
Pennzoil Platnium, Mobil 1, Motorcraft semi syn, Castrol, etc.. are all good.. really anything that is API certified will be quality oil..

xx2 on the motorcraft filter. I use Pennzoil Platinum synthetic. Advance Auto Parts has had it on sale for 3.98/qt. I think it's back up to $6.20 now though...
But, if you want to stick with the blend the motorcraft oil works fine.
