leaky up pipes?

ok, I recently installed the new PDR turbo, works great, lately my egts have been up more than usual, I have leaky up pipes for sure, but there is also soot on the ex housing the middle cartridge and back side of compressor housing...as well as alllllll over my pedistal, now is this from the up pipes of could something else be loose? also my wastegate rod has oil on it?

Most likely; I would check my clamps also for proper alignment. They torque to 50 in./pds..

sounds to me like you didnt line up the pin on the babies butt to the back of the turbo when you installed it... on a cold motor..start it up..reach behind the turbo and feel around the clamp that holds the up pipes to the turbo...im sure you will find it leaking..

Since you ordered your Turbo from PDR, install their bellowed up pipes. They send everything that is needed. Besure to send back your old.

What do you mean about this? Is there a core charge for something?

PDR has a $400.00 core charge on their up pipes. Its so they can take the old and make them into new bellowed ends. PDR Diesel Performance
