Guage does not work

Hey, I have an 87 F-150 with a 300-6. In Jan. I bought a newer 92 Nite, so i parked the other one. It sat for about 5 months without being started. When i did get it going i had to repace the positive cable to even get it started. After i got it going i have noticed that the fuel, and oil pressure quages are very slow and dont move when you shut it off. It tells me a different fuel level everytime i start it. The battery guage doesnt even work. I checked all the connections at the alternator and cant find the problem. I took the cluster out and put one in from a parts bronco that I have and it didnt make any difference, so its not the guage itself. I cant really think of anything else to check. Any ideas?

Maybe your instrument cluster voltage regulator.

Guage does not work

Try replacing the ground wire from the rear of the engine block to the firewall. This causes lots of guage problems when it is corroded or missing.
