Ignition switch not working - PA
My '95 F-150 ignition switch is not functioning. I removed the old switch and replaced it with a new oem lock/switch and it is doing what the old switch did, that is, it is going from the acc position to the start position without any position clicks. The truck will start but the switch has no effect on shutting down it just turns freely through all the positions. It seems like something inside the column? Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, I figured it out! I had to rip the colunm apart, the 2 piece plastic linkage lost the pin, I rejoined the 2 pieces and reassembled the steering colunm. Life is good in the Pocono's. Thanks tcbofade
