how are you doing that? I was lucky to get 23-24 mpg highway with the 05 Focus I had for 2 weeks.
I've found that most of those little POS cars don't get good MPG. I had an 07 Altima 2.5S back in Nov/Dec last yr for almost 1 month. That little POS got 19 mpg on the highway.

Dang, I got all excited, and got reeled right in, hook line and sinker! But, it was kind of funny......
By the way Fireman28, are you a car salesman or something like that, on the side????????
No car salesman here. You know this thread really took off. You know the 25mpg just isn't worth sitting on the ground and feeling like every soccer mom is gonna run over you on the road.
That kinda stinks for a Focus. I thought they advertised 35mpg on the new one?! I have a 07 Honda Civic EX Auto and I get 36 every day to work on a 35 mile commute and there's some pretty steep hills which I take at 80-90. Shoot, if I really beat the crap out of it; it still get's over 30. What can I say the big three can't make a decent small car, and on the flip side, the Japs can't make a heavy duty truck.

Hmmm my 06 Corolla-S 5/speed manual did get 41 hwy and 32-35 local.
Kinda wish I still had that "little POS".
