I am going to be installing a JVC double din head unit in both my 2004 ex and my wifes 2005 ex. What in the way of aftermarket brackets am I going to need? Any suggestions on sources and part #'s?
I don't think there is going to be an install kit available. However, I think it will be pretty easy to mod the dash to make it work. you might have to cut some plastic, trim the stock slider bar, and square up the opening.
Once you have the opening big enough, you can mount the cage and slide it in.

I would recommend using the Schosche wiring adapter instead of the Metra. It has a couple extra wires that you might want for your install like the steering wheel control wire and VSS wire.
Beerstalker,
I already have the Scosche harnesses because I had seen one of your previous posts. I have the dremel ready to take care of the upper and lower lips. With that kit is there more modification necessary? No big deal if there is.
