Putnam Hitch Install
Well I ordered a XDR Class 5 Putnam hitch off Ebay for $143 and decided to go ahead and install it this afternoon. Pretty simple install, fit is fair (the top of the hitch hits the plastic on the bottom of the bumper) and the finish is great. I found it a little tough to center the hitch but in the end it seemed to work out okay. The factory wiring bracket will work with some minor modification. My rig is a 2007 F250 just FYI

Loosen the bumper bolts, the holes are oversized and you can adjust the bumper to clear the hitch. Factory just bolts the bumper on fairly straight, without a hitch nothing to line it up to.
