Speed Control and Overhead Console Out
On the way from Idaho to Alabama,somewhere in Oklahoma, my overhead console stopped working. Later I noticed the cruise control also stopped working. I read a lot of threads about each, but didn't find anyone with both of them that stopped working. I checked all the standard fuses in the dash and under the hood and they all looked OK. Anybody seen this before? Or, could it just be they went out individually near the same time. Thanks.

I just had time to look at the truck again. I checked all the fuses and they are all good. I did notice something strange. When I turn the ignition on, I only get the battery and air bag light in the dash. Shouldn't I get ABS, seatbelt, check engine, and a few more? I disconnected the battery but that didn't help. Has anybody seen anything similar to this? I think there has to be a common link somewhere since the speed control and overhead stopped working at the same time and now those lights in the dash aren't working either. Has anybody got ANY ideas. Thanks.
