I wasnt thinking when i posted this on the general 67-72 forum, ill try here instead! Im now the proud owner of two cobbled together F250 4x4's. the one i just picked up i believe is on a correct 67-72 131" wheelbase chassis(bed to cab gap looks right)and the one ive had several months appears to be on a 73 or newer 133" wheelbase chassis( a veritable Grand Canyon of a bed/cab gap) id like to put my old Warn 8274 on one of them, which years of F-series Warn winch bumpers interchange with a minimum of fabbing brackets ,etc. I seem to recall that Warn listed the same bumper for a whole lot of 70'-80's Fords,Chevies,Dodges, the differences being mounting kits to attach them to different makes/models of trucks?
1973 and on up, hard to find any kind of bumper, except repro, for the 67-72 series. Measure the width of your frame outside to outside, should be 34".
i will check the width today,in fact i will compare the two, since im certain that the one sits on a 73 or later frame.the one nice part about them being cobbled together Franken-trucks is that since nothing on them is original anyway,if a part either fits or can be gently persuaded to fit,it can work!
