Well.... Since you think this forum is full of bull****.
Did your question get answered?
Sure as heck did. Its called the ford squat, all the trucks that i have seen with the retarted TTB do it, mine does it. Wanna fix it, throw in a solid axle.
No wheeling in florida? Where do you live, downtown miami?
In the first couple of posts your question was answered by more than 1 person, you took the answer and accepted. The thread is now use less, only thing it has now is research value, and its pretty obvious not many people do that, judging by how many poeple come down here and post "how big of tire can i run" or "what tire will fit"
Now because we went off track AFTER your questioned was answered. Thats normal, on ANY board, it happens get used to it. If you cant accept people opinions WTF are you doing on the interent? Espically on a website that is run of what people think and know? I personally think lifted 2wd trucks SCREAM MALL CRAWLER! Dont give me the b.s. about goin to the beach, cause if its lifted or not, its only got 2 wheel drive, and id bet money, the rear aint locked, so when your stuck up at the beach you will actually only have 1 wheel spinning useleslly in the sand. If i were to spend money on a truck for the beach, 2wd strictly, i would find the wides tires i could. Then air them down and throw a locker in the rear. Ive got 37" tires on my truck didnt cut anything in the back and it has NO lift. So dont try and say you did it for tire size either.
I was being resonable, helped the guy out answered his question, then stated an opinion, as did others, he dont like it then he should take is 2wd questions to a 2wd board, as this is the Offroad and 4X4 board
my point exactly, this is the off-road section, not the mall crawler section.
exactly why i posted here..i am sure people have lifted 2wd for wheelin......
no much wheelin here in Florida which is why i got rid of my 3 Xj's when we moved form ohio.
Some useful info from the people here on this thread, but more bull**** than any other place i have posted..

, still serving correct answers.
Don't give us this stuff about no wheeling in Florida, there's plenty of guys here from florida who wheel all the time, its called mud deal with it. Don't think because you lifted a 2wd you can come in here and call it off-roading. "Its going to the beach" thats just like mallcrawling with sandcastles instead of speed bumps.
You win. But thats not a standard 2wd 150 with open rear dif, and an inline6.
Thats a purpose built race truck, and if you reall think about it, it not really off roading, it more like flying while occasionally touching back down to earth just to launch right back into the air.
well its not about gearing usually they have decently low gears and they're spooled, with at least 400-500 hp, so its not that its just that 4 powered wheels are better than 2.
