No Fuel

I have an 88 f-250 with a 351 that i just replaced. I had to change all of the wires that ran back to fuel pump, brake lights, etc. The truck that I took the wires from had no front tank in it only the back. The truck that I put them into only has the front tank and no back. so I had to hook the wires from the back tank on the other truck to the front tank on my truck. Now the fuel pump does not run so I am wondering if there is any way my truck could be wired so that only the front tank would work, since that was the only tank under it anyway.

I`n sure you will get a reply from some of the electrical experts soon, but sounds to me like you have a faulty ground or the pump relay is wired wrong to the new harness.

Can somebody tell me where all the ground points are from the battery all the way to the brake lights are? Pics would be nice. Another wierd thing with this truck is that when you turn the key on niether the engine or the check engine light come on at all. One more question. Is there any way to relieve a stuck valve in the tranny on my 89 f150 without tearing the whole thing apart?

At least on my ranger, the ground cable on the battery is bolted to the body/frame, and from where it bolts into the body/frame, it gets bolted into the engine with a ground strap. Pretty much everything should be grounded to the frame, the body or the engine.
