fuel transfer
What is the best way to transfer fuel from the tank of my '97 to an outside portable boat tank? I tried putting a 1/2" siphon hose down the filler pipe to a full tank, and it wouldn't go as far as the fuel. Thanks.

yeah, you can't get a siphon hose down there because all modern cars have an "anti-siphon" screen at the end of the filler tube. So you can either break that out and siphon it, or disconnect the fuel line somewhere between the tank and the engine (fuel filter would be a good spot) and turn the key to "on" and let the fuel pump pump it out for you.
