Door locks will keep me from buying another Ford...
I have a 2003 Ford Expedition. Like many I have had issues with the power door locks. Up until now, all have been fixed under warranty and extended warranty. Now, 2 months out of my extended warranty, the passenger front door lock is not responding. I just purchased a new to me truck to pull my boat. I wanted to jump on the down market to buy, and I was looking at 2002 - 2004 trucks, half ton to 3/4 ton trucks. Had it narrowed down to 3, a 2003 Ford F150 w/84K miles, 2002 F250 w/ 7.3 power stroke Lariet w/ 126K miles, and a 2003 Chevy 1500 Z71 w/ 76K miles. All pretty much same condition and I narrowed it down to miles and the fact that power door locks weren't much use if they didn't work. Ford needs to recall these things and stand behind their trucks. I think a class action suit is warranted!!!!

Money will fix anything. It's my wife's car, and it makes carpool very hard. Oh the life of a stay at home mom! Anyway way, Ford knows there is a problem, and refuses to do anything about it. This is my only way to vent. I'm not a Ford basher, I like the Expy. It's a great family vehicle! A good dealer may have treated me better.
