CCV Reroute Done/Couple ?'s
Got this done today and it was pretty easy to do. First question is this. After getting the intake off and seeing the turbo, one of the blades has a maroon/almost rust color to it. Just one blade. Anyone have any input on that? Second question is this. How long and how much should it smoke? Should it even be smoking? Its not bad at all, just a little haze and just wondering if its normal. Lot of oil residue at the end of the intake behind the elbow from the ccv vent. Hate to see what the intercooler has in it.

The smoking depends on how hard its driven, well it does on mine anyway. If I run down the interstate it smokes more than if I just drive it to work. After some time all that build up of oil will clean it self out. It will also help the EGR valve. We pulled a friends EGR and it looked like the inside of his tail pipe. The only thing on it was soot, no carbon build up and that was just after 10K miles it cleaned itself up. The ford tech here said that it will in time clean out your intercooler.
